Job Title: Sponsor Coordinator

Purpose:

The Sponsor Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact to develop sponsors for Ice and Dice LLC events in exchange for advertising opportunities in a volunteer capacity, supporting the organization’s mission of providing quality events for the gaming community. 

Location

Location will vary. The majority of the work will be performed remotely from the comfort of your home. Meetings will be held bi-weekly via Zoom with alternating weeks meeting at a member’s home in Milford, Ohio. Event locations will vary and attendance may be required at those locations in and around the Cincinnati area such as game stores, hotels, etc.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Attend group meetings as needed 
  • Lead the solicitation and securing of sponsorship for Ice & Dice LLC events or other activities
  • Develop a sliding sponsorship scale that provides for several levels of sponsorship according to amount sponsored
  • Create event sponsorship packages
  • Assist with developing and monitoring event budgets as they related to sponsorship participation
  • Monitor social media key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics 
  • Research target markets and potential sponsors and adapt content accordingly

Length of Appointment:

The intention is to have the Sponsor Coordinator serve as a member of Ice and Dice LLC on a permanent basis. 

Time Commitment:

A 2-3 hour meeting once a week. An initial ramp up time of about 5 hours or as needed to develop sponsorship packages.2-5 hours or as needed whenever events are run to recruit and manage sponsors.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience coordinating special events (either in personal or professional life)  
  • Ability to balance budgets with revenue generating activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • Negotiation skills 
  • Familiarity with monitoring KPIs and/or monitoring metrics 
  • Team player 
  • Professional demeanor 
  • Organizational and time management skills 
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the gaming community and channels is preferred but not required

Support:

Guidance and assistance will be provided, primarily from the Marketing Director and managing board. 

Dress Code:

The only dress code will be for Ice and Dice logo wear as provided for participation in any sponsored event.

Job Title: Vendor Coordinator

Purpose:

The Vendor Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact to develop and maintain strategic relationships with vendors for Ice and Dice LLC events in a volunteer capacity, supporting the organization’s mission of providing quality events for the gaming community. 

Location

Location will vary. The majority of the work will be performed remotely from the comfort of your home. Meetings will be held bi-weekly via Zoom with alternating weeks meeting at a member’s home in Milford, Ohio. Event locations will vary and attendance may be required at those locations in and around the Cincinnati area such as game stores, hotels, etc.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the solicitation, securing and scheduling of vendors for Ice & Dice LLC events or other activities
  • Coordinate all vendor payments with venues and/or Ice & Dice Treasurer
  • Create event vendor packages
  • Assist with developing and monitoring event budgets as they relate to vendor participation
  • Maintain strategic relationships with key vendors
  • Monitor social media key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics including vendor performance
  • Research target markets and potential vendors and adapt content accordingly
  • Work with contracts group to develop and maintain vendor contracts for events

  • Experience with securing payment and collections

  • Organizational and time management skills 
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the gaming community and channels is preferred but not required
